Ans – It’s not necessary that exalted planet will always give you good result means it can also give you bad result in it’s dasha periods. Let me give you practical example so that you can understand.
Example – Jupiter gets exalted in cancer sign & suppose if you’ve exalted jupiter in your chart then definitely you might think that you’ll get good result in exalted jupiter dasha period but practically it’s not possible that all exalted jupiter will always give you good result & you might think that then astrology is not working properly because from the basic it’s said that exalted planet always give good result then why doesn’t exalted jupiter or other any exalted planet always give good result. Actually fault is your because you’ve not gathered the full information properly, you are judging a planet based on it’s house & sign placement. So here is the answer why not all exalted jupiter or like any other exalted planet always give good result in it’s dasha periods.

>So, as per basics we know that Jupiter gets exalted in cancer sign.
